Colombia: A fundamental pillar in the global motorcycle industry

Colombia has established itself as a key player in the global motorcycle industry, standing out not only for its growing domestic demand, but also for its strong assembly and production capacity. According to the National Business Association of Colombia (ANDI), motorcycles account for 61.94% of the country’s vehicle fleet, with 833,178 new registrations recorded in 2024, positioning Colombia as the tenth-highest-demand market worldwide.

Even more impressive is that 93.35% of the motorcycles registered in the country are assembled locally at one of eight plants across five departments. This figure reflects the strength and competitiveness of the national industry, which not only supplies the domestic market, but also drives the economy through job creation and technological development.

In this context of growth and consolidation, the Feria de las 2 Ruedas has become a cornerstone event for the industry in Colombia and the Americas. More than a simple showcase of innovations and trends, F2R is a space for connection and strengthening for companies, professionals, and enthusiasts.
