The motorcycling community in Colombia is celebrating. Thanks to an initiative led by the 2 Wheels Fair, with the support of Fenalco and the Motorcycle Industry Chamber of ANDI, the country will officially have a National Motorcyclist Day.
Starting this year, National Motorcyclist Day will be celebrated every November 7th, and the first Saturday of the same month has been established as a special day of commemoration. This aims to highlight the social, economic, and cultural contribution of motorcyclists in the country, as well as to promote the safe and responsible use of this means of transport.
With over 13 million motorcycles registered in the country and a presence in 30% of Colombian households, it was time to give them the recognition they deserve.
National Motorcyclist Day will also be an opportunity for brands, distributors, workshops, collectives, and users to unite around rides, gatherings, promotions, educational campaigns, festivals, and cultural activities. This will be a key date to strengthen community ties and for the industry to connect more directly with its audiences.
From F2R, we proudly celebrate this achievement, as we know it is an important step towards continuing to build a culture of respect, inclusion, and passion for motorcycles.
This November 7th, let’s celebrate together those who move Colombia on two wheels.
