Within the framework of the Feria de las 2 Ruedas, at the 1st Road Safety Forum for motorcyclists in Colombia and Latin America, the Motorcycle Industry Chamber of the National Business Association of Colombia (ANDI) presented the joint declaration of the Latin American Alliance of Motorcycle Sector Associations, hereinafter referred to as the MOTOLATAM Alliance.
Representatives of leading motorcycle-sector associations from across Latin America met in Medellín to establish this landmark alliance. In an unprecedented act of collaboration, the associations from Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Ecuador and, of course, Colombia have joined forces to commit to promoting sustainable development, formalization and, above all, road safety in the region.
The MOTOLATAM Alliance establishes road safety, sustainable mobility, regulatory harmonization and strategic communication as its main areas of work. In addition, they commit to promoting the formalization and legality of the motorcycle sector throughout its entire value chain and vehicle use, seeking the care and protection of this road user.
