As part of #F2R, the IX National Symposium of Motorcycle Clubs was held, an event that brings together the main members of motorcycle clubs every year. This time, it featured the participation of prominent figures such as Spanish motorcycle racer Joan Barreda Bort, the new official signing for Hero Motos' DAKAR team, and experts like Mateo González, the Secretary of Mobility of Medellín.

Over 250 attendees came to the Symposium, where various topics were addressed, including the current situation of the District Development Plan for Mobility. During the event, information was provided about an awareness activity focused on road safety, aimed at reducing road incidents and consequently, deaths on the roads. According to data provided by the secretariat, 97 fatalities have been recorded this year to date, compared to 268 the previous year. Among the victims, approximately 50% to 55% are motorcyclists, and of those, 37% collided with a fixed object, such as a pole or a sidewalk. Additionally, half of the pedestrian fatalities were caused by collisions with motorcyclists.

The Symposium concluded with reflection on the need to reduce speed, respect traffic signals, and the message that it is not necessary to wait to be a victim or witness an accident to take preventive measures.
